I made this Greek Salad for my New Year’s Eve Party, and it was a hit! This is one of those side dishes that your guests will love, and it’s super easy to make! Here’s what you will need:

Greek Salad Ingredients

  • English Cucumbers: for a fresh, crisp bite
  • Grape Tomatoes: Adds a pop of sweetness
  • Olives: I used jumbo black olives, but green olives work great too
  • Red Onion: I loveeeee onions! These will add to the vibrancy and crisp texture.
  • Bell Pepper: I used yellow, but any color works
  • Feta Cheese: classic for Greek salads
  • Dressing: We’ll be making it from scratch using olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic & herb seasoning

How to Make the Greek Salad

Start by rinsing all of your veggies. This is a crisp, fresh salad, so let’s make sure your guests aren’t crunching on dirt while they eat! Next, prep the veggies. I cut the cucumbers, grape tomatoes, and jumbo black olives in half, but feel free to cut everything to your preferred size. Thinly slice the red onion and chop the bell pepper. Add everything to a large bowl and toss in the crumbled feta cheese.

A bowl filled with diced English cucumbers, grape tomatoes, black olives, sliced red onion, yellow bell pepper, and crumbled feta cheese, arranged on a granite countertop.

To make the dressing, combine the olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, lemon juice, and seasonings. Whisk until well combined, then pour the dressing over the salad. Toss until everything is evenly coated. Serve immediately or chill for a few minutes and enjoy!
