Why You Will Love This Honey Glazed Salmon Rice Bowl
If you love a good rice bowl, you’re going to love this Honey Glazed Salmon Rice Bowl. It reminds me of a loaded Chipotle bowl, but with tender, flaky salmon as the star.
The salmon is pan-fried until golden and coated in a simple honey glaze that gives it the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavor, with just a little kick from the red pepper flakes. Add smoky grilled corn, cilantro lime rice, fresh cucumber, tomato, avocado, and cilantro, and you have a bowl that is packed with flavor.
I’ve been looking for ways to make dinner feel fun and filling while my husband works toward his fitness goals, and this bowl was exactly what I had in mind. You get protein, rice, fresh vegetables, and plenty of flavor all in one bowl.
Ingredients
- Salmon: 1.5 lbs salmon, cut into bite-sized cubes. Cubing the salmon gives you more surface area for that delicious golden crust and honey glaze.
- Pure Honey: 2 tablespoons pure honey add the perfect touch of natural sweetness and helps create a beautiful caramelized glaze on the salmon.
- Seasonings: Knorr Liquid Seasoning, red pepper flakes, paprika, white pepper, garlic powder, and sesame oil give the salmon its savory, slightly spicy flavor.
- Bowl Toppings: Cilantro lime rice, grilled corn mixed with red onion and jalapeño, cucumber, tomato, avocado, fresh cilantro, and sesame seeds complete the bowl with fresh flavors and plenty of texture.

How to Make Honey Glazed Salmon Rice Bowl
Start by preparing your rice. Wash and cook your rice as you normally would. Once it’s finished, squeeze in the juice of 1 lime and add some freshly chopped cilantro. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then fluff everything together and set aside.
Next, prepare your salmon. Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes and add them to a bowl. Season with the Knorr Liquid Seasoning, red pepper flakes, paprika, white pepper, garlic powder, sesame oil, and pure honey. Toss everything together until the salmon is evenly coated.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the seasoned salmon. Cook for a few minutes on each side, turning the pieces occasionally, until the salmon is cooked through and golden brown on the outside. The honey will caramelize as the salmon cooks, giving it those delicious golden edges. Finish with freshly chopped cilantro and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.

While the salmon is cooking, prepare your bowl toppings. Grill your corn until lightly charred, then cut the kernels from the cob and toss them with diced red onion and jalapeño. Chop your cucumber, tomato, and avocado.
Once everything is ready, build your bowl. Start with a scoop of cilantro lime rice, then add the honey glazed salmon, grilled corn mixture, cucumber, tomato, and avocado.

Get some color on the salmon. The honey caramelizes as it cooks, so letting the salmon develop those golden, slightly crispy edges adds so much flavor.
