If you’re craving takeout but don’t feel like leaving the house, this Stir Fry Beef and Bok Choy is the perfect dinner to make. It’s saucy, packed with vegetables, and loaded with tender ribeye beef.
Stir Fry Beef and Bok Choy Ingredients
- Ribeye Beef: Thinly sliced ribeye cooks quickly and stays tender, making it perfect for stir fry.
- Knorr Liquid Seasoning: Adds a deep savory flavor to the beef while it cooks.
- Instant Ramen Noodles: The noodles cook quickly and absorb the sauce beautifully.
- Beef Tallow: Adds richness and helps give the beef and vegetables great flavor when stir frying.
- Garlic: Ten cloves might sound like a lot, but it brings amazing flavor to the dish. (plus we love garlic!)
- Fresh Ginger: Adds warmth and that classic stir fry aroma.
- Red Bell Pepper: Adds color and a slight sweetness that balances the savory sauce.
- Baby Bok Choy: A must for this recipe. It adds freshness and cooks down perfectly in the stir fry.
- Thai Chilis: For a little heat. You can adjust the amount depending on your spice preference.
- Onion: Adds texture and sweetness once it softens.
- Teriyaki Sauce: The main flavor base of the sauce.
- Oyster Sauce: Adds depth and that rich umami flavor stir fries are known for.
- Dark Soy Sauce: Gives the noodles a deeper color and slightly richer flavor.
- Brown Sugar: Balances the saltiness of the sauces.
- Water and Cornstarch: Helps create a light sauce that coats the noodles.
- White Pepper: Adds a subtle heat that works perfectly in stir fry dishes.
- Sesame Oil: Added at the end for a nutty finish.
- Sesame Seeds: For garnish and a little extra texture.

How to Make Stir Fry Beef and Bok Choy
Start by bringing a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. For this recipe, I used MAMA Oriental Style Instant Noodles. Ever since my fiancé brought these home, I’ve been eating them nonstop. I’ve tried plenty of instant ramen over the years, but this brand has definitely become my favorite. When I started developing this Stir Fry Beef and Bok Choy recipe, I knew these noodles would work perfectly. We won’t be using the seasoning packets for this recipe, so you can discard them or save them for another day. I usually keep mine and use them for soups. Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and set them aside.

Season the thinly sliced ribeye with Knorr liquid seasoning and set it aside while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. Heat beef tallow in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the ribeye and cook it until browned. Because the slices are thin, this should only take a couple of minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside. In the same pan, add the minced garlic, ginger, Thai chilies, chopped onion, red bell pepper, and baby bok choy. Stir fry everything for a few minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

In a small bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, water, cornstarch, and white pepper. Stir well until the cornstarch is fully dissolved. Return the cooked beef to the pan along with the ramen noodles. Pour the sauce into the pan with the vegetables and stir until it begins to thicken. Toss everything together until the noodles are fully coated in the sauce. Finish the dish with sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
